FAQDo you use the PACE or self-study system?
No. We have traditional classrooms with regular teachers.
How many students do you have in a classroom?
Our classes are small rarely larger than 10 per room. This enables the teacher to give personal attention to each student, even with combined grades.
What is meant by combined grades?
For over 30 years we have successfully combined grades much like the one room school house model. Depending on the number of students we typically combine grades K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12.
What curriculum do you use?
BJU press is our predominate source, although we do use some A Beka.
Do the students wear uniforms?
No. We do have a dress code that is available on this website.
Do you have a hot lunch program?
No, but we do have a supervised kitchen with microwaves and hot water service for the students. The students are able to bring a variety of food items and heat them.
Do you provide transportation?
We are unable to provide transportation, but we do assist parents in arranging car pooling with other school families.
Do you do achievement testing?
Yes. We test all grades every other year using the Stanford Achievement Tests. Our tests are compared to the national averages as well as the American Association of Christian Schools of which we are a member.
Do your students go on to higher education?
Yes. We are pleased that almost all our students not only go on to college but attend Christian college.
